HealthOS Privacy Policy

HealthOS is a personal health application designed for a single user. This policy explains how HealthOS handles information obtained from Apple Health, WHOOP, connected sensors, and information entered directly in the app.

Information HealthOS accesses

• Heart rate and heart-rate intervals.
• Recovery, sleep, physiological cycle, workout, and body-measurement information authorized through WHOOP.
• Health, activity, sleep, workout, and nutrition records authorized through Apple Health.
• Profile, check-in, workout, meal, and habit information entered in HealthOS.

How information is used

HealthOS uses this information only to display personal health history, calculate personal trends and estimates, produce reports requested by the user, and maintain authorized connections to health-data providers. HealthOS is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or medical advice.

Storage and processing

Health records are stored locally on the user’s device. OAuth authorization may be processed by a secure service solely to connect HealthOS to WHOOP and renew that connection. Authentication credentials are not sold or used for advertising.

Sharing and sale

HealthOS does not sell personal or health information, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated third parties. Information is transmitted only to services necessary to provide a connection requested by the user, such as WHOOP and Apple Health.

Control and deletion

The user may revoke WHOOP access, remove Apple Health permissions, disconnect a sensor, or delete captured HealthOS data at any time. Revoking a connection stops future synchronization. Local data can be removed from HealthOS settings.

Security

HealthOS uses platform security features including iOS data protection and Keychain storage where appropriate. No system can guarantee absolute security, but access is limited to the minimum needed for the requested features.

Changes

This policy may be updated when HealthOS adds or changes a data source or feature. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
